Your guided trek will take you deep into the misty rainforest to encounter one of the eight habituated gorilla families. Trekking duration can vary from 2 to 6 hours depending on the group location. Once found, you are allowed one magical hour to observe these gentle giants in their natural habitat. Witnessing a silverback up close is an emotional and humbling experience.
After the trek, return to your lodge for lunch and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Later, return to the lodge for lunch. You may also opt for an afternoon visit to the nearby cultural village to learn about the traditions and customs of the Rwandan people.
